PRESSURE PLEASURE 4 - THE RING - CERVIX EXPLORATION



In this workshop of the Pressure Pleasure series, we will dedicate our attention to the cervix. As an organ that almost only senses pressure, it is only logical that the cervix gets its very own workshop in this series. 

At the end of the vagina and at the same time at the end of the uterus, the cervix connects two spheres of the pelvis. Analogously, it is seen as a connector in many traditional and esoteric teachings. It is said to connect us to deeper insights about ourselves. It gives us access to ancestral memories or to our dreams. Cervical orgasm can be for some people a transcendental experience. 

In this workshop, we want to find out together what the cervix holds for us to discover. 

The midwife and bodyworker Lu is going to provide a safe space for us to explore our intimate anatomy in the most profound way. With Lu’s calm and caring way we will be guided into a more profound understanding of our intimate anatomy and its potential for different kinds of pleasure, whereas Lu’s definition of pleasure is rather broad and is not immediately linked to sexual excitement. 

After some preparatory steps, we first learn how to locate the cervix with the fingers before we can have a proper look at it with a speculum. We will then explore different types of touch to the cervix and will finally experience the effects of mindfully applied pressure massage techniques to the cervix. 

The cervix can be differently sensitive in different phases of the menstrual cycle. The way the workshop is guided makes it suitable for any day of your cycle. Bleeding is welcome and does not hinder the process. Soft tampons will be available for those who wish to use them during parts of the workshop.

For most of the evening we will be in pairs. You can join the workshop with a fixed partner if you wish. However, the experience might be greater if you open yourself to new connections. So, please don’t hesitate to come on your own. 

The workshop is open for everyone with a cervix. 

Every workshop of the Pressure Pleasure series stands on its own. You can easily participate, if you haven’t been to the previous workshop(s). No prerequisites are necessary.

The workshop will be held in German or English, or with whisper translation, depending on the group’s needs. 

Stuff to bring:

- Hand mirror

- Toys to help reach the cervix (dildo, vibrator, pulsator dildo, …)

- Please bring your own towel. 

Safer sex and hygiene supplies will be provided. You can bring your own lube or gloves if you have favourite products. We’ll have soft-tampons for you in case you’re bleeding and prefer to use a product that does not hinder the exploration.
