Turning men into furniture

Take a seat, make yourself comfortable and enjoy an uplifting hangout with your girls and theys to "talk about anything but men" - Inspired by the legendary >>Bimbo Factory's Housewarming<< this workshop turns those who identify as men (see below) into chairs, lamps, rugs, sofas, tables, coat rags,...

The first part of the workshop is on the art of objectification. We'll explore how the men+ can fully embody their unique inner furniture piece and write a care tag explaining how visitors can use you and what interactions are off the table (ha!).

You decide if you are a luxurious piece that we cherish, polish, are careful with, admire or even only dare sitting on when wrapped in plastic. Or if you are trash, wobbly, need to be replaced, scrubbed, hidden under decorative cloth, or old and stiff and therefore sometimes you get stuck and need a little force, a little kick to function,...?

The flintas support this whole workshop process.

The second part of the evening is an elegant house party where we will put our new furniture into use. House and consent rules will be provided.

- Flintas: Preferably bring something nice to wear, as you would for a chic cocktail party ✨

- Mintas: Bring anything that helps you find comfort and longevity - kneepads, comfortable clean clothes, a meditative practice, and props that support your transformation aesthetically: a table cloth, a lamp shade, ...

Simple snacks will be provided as well as soft entertainment (think conversation cards and toasts that invite guests to intentionally engage with each other)

There might be nudity, kinky or sexual interactions - if the care tags allow and safer sex practices are followed. But it can also be purely practical. The kinds of interactions that can be safely enacted will also be practiced during the workshop with information on anatomy and bdsm.

No smartphones are allowed in the space, no pictures will be taken.

No dirty outside shoes allowed. Barefoot/socks possible.

Any person engaging in unwanted interactions will be removed.

This is a braver safer space, encouraging your self-responsibility.

Sexual orientation is not a defining criteria for this workshop.

Who plays what:

-> Cis men, trans men, nonbinary or agender people become furniture.

-> Cis women, trans women, lesbians, nonbinary or agender people are invited to use the furniture.
