An invitation to expand pelvic awareness in an integrated way, combining dance, improvisation, and health.

This gathering of pelvic wisdom will be grounded in studies of physiology, somatics, the ethics of care, biopolitics, and Pelvika practices rooted in circling, vibrating, lubricating, and dancing.

Thiane Nascimento is a Brazilian artist, born in Bahia. She lived and built her career as a dancer and body researcher in São Paulo. She currently resides in Salvador, Bahia.

A body-based artist, she has been exploring the intersections of dance, performance, and education since 2001.

She holds a Master’s degree in Dance from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) and, since 2017, has been the founder and pelvic educator of the artistic-pedagogical project PELVIKA.
