Resonance & Pleasure
2 days workshop with Vanessa Langer, in English
During these two days, we will immerse ourselves in an experiential somatic workshop, exploring the concepts of pleasure and resonance.
We will explore how a person's emotions, internal and physical states can influence and amplify within a group, like a sound wave spreading and setting other objects into vibration.
How do I experience the phenomenon of resonance in my intimate life?
How do bodies echo each other in a shared space?
How can we develop our somatic resonance?
To deepen the somatic experience of resonance, we will dive into our relationship with pleasure.
How do I relate to pleasure in my life?
How do I experience pleasure in my intimacy?
How does my body react when I experience pleasure?
How do I experience pleasure in a collective setting?
It’s about exploring pleasure through a subtle and deep presence in one's own body and in resonance with the bodies of others present. It is pleasure in a broad sense, sensory, sensual or sexual, alone, through non-tactile interactions, or with a bit of physical contact.
The workshop is an immersion into an experimental space where the focus will be on embodied consent, listening, play, and curiosity.
In a free and spontaneous way, attuned to the present moment, you will be able to participate or simply observe, and feel free to be who you are within the experience. Nudity is possible, respecting your desires and boundaries. The workshop can also be done without nudity.
The workshop is open to all genders, all bodies and all sexual orientations. Suitable for solos, couples and any other constellations. Come with comfortable clothes. You can take kinky clothes as well if you like. Please remember to bring a large towel or cloth. You are also welcome to bring tools and toys.
Vanessa Langer
is a psycho-sexo-somatic practitioner, anthropologist, trainer for professionals and teacher of movement and meditation. She works with intimacy, sexuality, emotions, relationship dynamics, trauma and kinks. She also creates immersive soundscapes and traces connections between the intimate, the environment, the poetic and the performative.
As a somanaut, she holds transformative spaces that question collective narratives and explore reflexivity, embodied presence, and altered states of consciousness. Through sensory-based explorations, she creates experiential journeys where perception becomes a way of inhabiting the body and the world.
