INNER GODESSES WORKSHOP

A four day exploration of New Burlesque, Striptease and Cabaret 

with Juliette Dragon (Paris)

to practice the art of seduction, learn basic technics of striptease, gain self-confidence as a female and create a CABARET SHOW for the opening of the SACRED PLAY-PARTY.

Feminity is a social construction. Gender is just a performance.

We will play with codes to divert them in order to free ourselves and exorcise all that with humour. We will have fun and empower ourselves.

Over the span of four days we will rehearse and create individual and group dances and - if desired - have the opportunity to show them in a final performance on Sunday June 7, 2026.

DAY 1 : As always with Juliette, we will study different archetypes of seductive Feminity. Each one has her own way of standing, walking, talking, hunting, speaking, stripping. We will walk sensually on high heels. We will act and dance to the rhythm of the character. We will learn the art of Tease. 

All genders are welcome: men, women, non-binary. 

Every body will be treated as female during the workshop. 

Bring a pair of high heels and gloves if you have them.

Day 2 and Day 3, we will focus on creation for the show. No obligation to perform in the end, you can also participate to the workshop and just join for the Sacred Play-Party.

This time, theme is ALL MIGHTY GODDESSES.

We will learn a burlesque group choreography of strip-tease to perform on stage as VENUS, goddess of Love.

We will also find our INNER GODDESS: Which type is She? Is she the embodiment of Love ? Of Rage ? Of Fertility ? Of Intelligence ? Of Bubble Gum ?!

Jokes, Darkness, Violence, Strength,Tenderness? What is her essence? 

She can be inspired from old existant pantheons (Celtic, Roman, Scandinavian, Slavic, African, Asian) according to your origins or from literature, cartoons, mangas, whatever. What does she want ? How to adore her ? What offerings give her particular pleasure? What are her super powers? No need to stay serious. Burlesque is playful, humorous and glamour. Let’s be imaginative and have lots of fun creating our character for the stage and/or the play-party. 

To awaken the goddess within each of us, we will seek technical tools from different disciplines. We will use Juliette's background in actor direction, choreography, martial arts, guided meditations, visualizations, dances, striptease, art history, sacred painting, various mythologies, esoteric symbolism and more.

An opportunity to step out of our comfort zone! A chance for personal, family and cultural introspections, to feel, to explore, to perform psycho-magical acts to gain confidence in ourselves and our power of seduction, to understand what we like, what we want, how to express it and share it...

All this to create a character for a solo act and/or above all to play a fun role at the party on June 7th!

DAY 4 : Preparation for the show and play-party: sewing, makeup, hair, rehearsals.

Juliette Dragon has been a performer for 33 years. Her background is in dance, comedy, directing, pyrotechnics, feminism, women's art therapy and essentially stripping and burlesque cabaret.

Her performances and stagings question the art of seduction and the representation of the female gender. She has been teaching cabaret disciplines in Paris for 18 years in her School of Filles de Joie, a pioneering structure in France. She teaches throughout Europe, in the USA, China and Australia. All her workshops are fun and joyful, offering great empowerment for everyone, regardless of gender.
