Bondage Suspension Flow
mit / with Madita
-> From Technique to Connection
-> You made it: Into suspension.
- >You learned the basic knots, sustainable structures, harnesses for suspension, and how to safely lock your up-lines.
And now, what happens after the technique is learned? How do we create a session together? How does suspension become more than structure — a shared experience carried by trust, care, communication, and connection?
This class offers a space to deepen your practice and become more fluid, confident, safe, and intuitive in both tying and modeling. Together.
Every second week, we revisit and expand on the harnesses and techniques learned in the Bondage Basics Classes (Steps 1–7) and combine them into creative suspensions and half suspensions.
Now, as we understand the foundations, we can begin to explore what happens beyond the structure: flow, emotion, play, intimacy, tension, presence.
Because suspension is not only technical - It is also emotional, relational, and creative.
Together, we will explore questions such as:
- How do we create a suspension experience instead of simply “doing a tie”?
- Which emotions or dynamics would we like to invite?
- How do we communicate before, during, and after suspension?
- How do we stay connected once someone is in the air?
- Can we understand the language of our partner’s body?
- What makes transitions feel smooth, intentional, and alive?
- How much movement and freedom does a structure allow?
- How can we continue tying while suspended?
- When and why might we open or change ties in the air?
- How do we invite playfulness, intimacy, tension, lust, or tenderness into a session?
- What happens when things become uncomfortable or challenging?
- Is this practice, play, performance, session, ritual — what is it about?
- And how do we end well? What kind of aftercare and grounding do we both need?
We will also explore the “soft skills” that often make a session truly memorable: presence, trust, pacing, emotional awareness, responsiveness, atmosphere, and mutual care.
This is a space for experimenting, learning, failing safely, asking questions, and discovering your own style together with your partner(s).
You are welcome to join individual classes or drop in spontaneously.
It is helpful if you already know the harness or pattern of the last 2 weeks (see Steps 1–7), as this gives you more space for exploration and playfulness — but it is not mandatory. You do not need to bring a partner*, if you are willing to work with others in the group.
