 PHILOSOPHICAL COLLOQUIUM
Expanding body thoughts, perspective/s for the future.

Curated by: Tobias Wieland &Stefanie Rinke

Sexuality is an existential dimension of the human form of being in the world. We premise our philosophical investigations on the experience of the ongoing violation of this anthropological fact. The social norms and ideals, which govern us in our intimate interactions alone or with others, are inscribed in our bodies. They express a heteronormative, misogynist, and racist paradigm.

It is important to talk about alternatives to monogamy as the sexual and relational landscape undergoes profound changes. A growing number of people are looking for new models of intimacy. The current surge of interest can be attributed to a number of factors. But there are many biases, and a common problem is the lack of appropriate scripts. People have few role models for how to live well in polyamorous relationships.

With Karina Kehlet Lins, Dipl.-Psych., systemic psychotherapist, sex therapist.
